The club maintains its own gas dock available to members 24 hours each day (click to see hours when we might be staffing the pump). There is also a pump-out next to the gasoline pump. Click to see new regulations for gas pump use (May 2008)

Club members dispense their own gas outside of normal hours and are reponsible for accurately recording their use.

There is no diesel available at the club. Diesel sources include:

• Perry's Landing: two clubs west
• Presque Isle Marina across the bay to the north

Emergency Gas Dock Procedures (May 2008):

Due to the high price of gas, the Gas Dock can not afford to fill the tank without the members paying for the gas on an "as used" basis. Therefore the Board and bridge has adopted the following Rules on an Emergency Basis in order to open the Gas dock for the 2008 season.

1. A CPYC member purchasing gas must obtain the original signature and hand printed version of another regular member at the time of purchase,
verifying gallons and dollar amount of the purchase. Appropriate paperwork
will be provided at the gas dock to facilitate this additional requirement.

2. Gas payment is due at the time of purchase. No exceptions.

3. Members will make all checks payable to "Commodore Perry Yacht Club." CPYC will not accept cash from members.

4. The Club extends the courtesy for registered overnight guests to purchase gas from CPYC's gas dock. The guest must be accompanied by a
regular member of CPYC while purchasing gas. Guest payments must be in cash in US Dollars only.

5. Social Members are permitted to purchase gas, but are not permitted to purchase gas dock certificates when made available to the membership.

6. Pump out will be free to members and non-members purchasing gas. (Otherwise there will be a charge.)

7. These rules will be strictly enforced - infractions will be cause for written warning, $100 fine and possible loss of membership.
